Open Question: What’s wrong with guys? They all seem to like me all of a sudden and compete for my attention?

June 30, 2009 – 12:17 pm

Few guys used to bother with my presence. But now that I have become more confident, playful and spend more time in front of the mirror before going out, guys are queuing for me. They think I'm attractive, sexy (but knows her boundaries), witty, funny, smart and sweet. They keep asking my best friend what I think of them and whether I'm free to date. Apparently one even wants to buy me Breil jewelry for my upcoming birthday
I just like them as friends. I'm afraid they'll think I'm playing them, manipulating them. I already made it clear to some of them about my feelings for them, not that it changed much.
How should I behave? Should I keep enjoying the sudden popularity and the limelight? I don't want anyone to get hurt.
18 and confused
I'm not a brat and I didn't want to be vain. It isn't my fault they are all asking my best friend and complementing me contiously when we go out as a group even if i try to change the subject.
