Open Question: Need some help identifying jewelry hallmark?
October 31, 2009 – 3:17 amI was wondering if anyone could at least point me in the right direction regarding a chain I have.
It's a mid-gold tone in color but that really speaks nothing of its composition.
So the hallmarks are (as well as I can read under a microscope)
1. In a rectangle:
1 AR
2. In a shape resembling a Venn diagram, or two circles overlapping:
IN _ _ ERRE
3. In a diamond shape:
5 8 5
4. ITALY
