Open Question: Is flux absolutely necessary in soldering jewelry?
April 30, 2009 – 6:17 pmI just got a soldering gun/iron for my birthday, and some lead free solder, but sadly no flux.
Is flux a necessary thing for soldering, or can I go on without it?
