Open Question: Going from 2g to 0g, and not sure what to do?

I've gone from 16g to 2g in about 4 months and have never used tapers (my friend gave me a bunch of her gauges and just said have fun lol). 4g to 2g was a challenge, but other than that, I've had no problems.
Bought some 0g plugs tonight and they just aren't going in. After doing some research, I'm torn between two options. Ordering a pair of 1g single flared glass plugs I found online (http://www.amazon.com/Clear-Glass-Single-Flared-Plugs/dp/B001RO21YG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=jewelry&qid=1268370039&sr=8-1, that look safe?) or buying 0g tapers from HotTopic.
I was leaning towards the 1g, but wanted to get an outsider's opinion first.
