Open Question: Do I have to take out my nose piercing for track?

Im getting my nose pierced in a few days, HOPEFULLY TOMORROW!!!!! (been waiting 1 and half months!) and Im getting it whether they like it or not, but do you have to take out jewelry if your just doing field events for competition? i dont see why you would have to, its not like your going to hit your nose as you throw a heavy metal ball in the shot put how do you fall in a field event? trip over the block as you go to get the shot put after you throw it? Or is it tripping on a pebble in the discus? The only thing you could possible trip on is long jump, which the odds are highly unlikely if you have well gripping shoes, because you only jump 3 times
