Open Question: Credit card fraud question?
February 28, 2009 – 5:17 pmA relative of mines (who was staying with her at the time)stole our grandmothers information and got some credit cards. He bought televisions sets, video games, jewelry, shoes, clothes, laptops, reserved furniture,printers, cell phones,and computer software using these cards. He even tried to order a vehicle online with the cards. He went shopping to the mall as well. We still don't know how much stuff he ordered. We are going through the internet history to see what places he ordered from. My grandmother wants to prosecute him. She is trying to get in contact with all the places where he bought the stuff online from so she can return some of the items he left at her house. Is this a federal offense and how much jail time will he be facing?
