Open Question: Can someone help me understand my dream of a high school sweetheart who recently died at the age of 62?

My high school sweetheart passed away recently. We had not remained close friends, but would run into each other on occasion. Several days after her funeral, which I attended, I had a vivid dream of her. I was in the foyer of an older home. There was a staircase along the left-hand wall. The windows were large, and bright sunlight was streaming through them. It felt as though the house were on or near a beach. The house was empty with no furniture, except for long white curtains on the windows which fluttered in the breeze.. As I was standing in the foyer my ex sweetheart walked slowly down the staircase. She wore a simple summer dress of a brown print color. Her feet were bare and she had no jewelry or adornments of any kind. She was as beautiful as I remembered her in high school. She slowly walked up to me in the middle of the sunlit foyer and, face to face, she hugged me tightly. No words were spoken by either of us and we did not kiss.. I struggled to remain in the dream and in her arms as it felt so wonderful, but the power of it woke me. I do not usually remember my dreams. However, this one was so beautiful and powerful, I will never forget it. Can someone help me understand if the dream represented exactly what I experienced, or is there a deeper meaning.
