I recently discovered that a friend of mine loves pearls, as I do. But is it weird for a girl to buy another girl jewelry for xmas if we're not partners? I'm thinking of getting her either a pair of earrings or a bracelet.

That is ok to buy jewelry to your girlsfriend. when I went to Peru for vacation I bought my girlfriends jewelry it was pure silver and they loved it.

It’s perfectly acceptable to buy a friend jewelry. It’s just a matter of presentation. Don’t make a huge deal out of it and it shouldn’t be a problem.
